Y’all ever been ‘spinT’? Have y’all ever even heard the term lol? ’Long Time‘ is a song I wrote about dealing with a guy who ‘spinT’ me and basically tried to play me. So, let’s start by defining ‘spinT’

Have you ever had a huge crush on someone and you finally get a chance to hang out with them and then.... spinT. Been there, done that, more times than one lol. Its not a great feeling but man does it make for good inspiration in the music lol. In ‘Long Time’ I describe the type of love I aspire to experience. I explain how long I’ve been waiting and how I’ve been in my feels. But in true form, the guy tries to play me and screws it up. Not surprising right? Anywaydoe, the game is the game lol. You win some and you lose some.
I don’t remember when I wrote this but I do remember it was a little harder for me because if you’ve been around a while, you know I can be a little wordy lol. My music tends to be a mouth full lol. I tried my hand at a simple and repetitive hook and I think I nailed it. Its catchy and the beat on this song is one of my favorites. It reminds me of a rave or something lol. Really wavey. I didn’t know if I was going to like this one but sometimes you just have to trust the process. In the end, it all worked out.
