October is a huge month. With it being the beginning of the 4th quarter, everybody is set to crush the rest of their 2018 goals and end the year with a bang. I never really realized how many milestones I celebrate in October. Big things have happened in October for me.
For some reason I'm super reflective right now and I don't know why. Everything feels mad transitional. I find myself falling deep into thought so much, so often. But as I try to quiet my mind, I am learning to celebrate myself and my victories. October has been good to me and has been a pivotal month in the last few years. I'm excited for what's to come.
First things first, this beautiful blog here turns 2 years old on October 6th! I can not even believe this. I actually buckled down and stayed true to this Blogger life. Let me tell you, it’s more than a notion. It’s not just all writing. There’s a lot of planning and prepping and photography, etc. I had been blogging on and off since 2012 but in 2016 I finally took it seriously and found my stride. I have to say, I’m pretty proud of myself. #NIGGAWEMADEIT I’ll be celebrating this milestone with a few giveaways this month so stay tuned!
My first ever music project made its debut in October of last year. Transparency turns 1! To this day, I still can’t believe that I actually started taking this music thing seriously. I’ve never wanted to be in front of the camera. Ive never wanted to be the center of attention. I’ve always seen myself working behind the scenes. Well that all changed for me when I dropped Transparency. The first stage of my storyline. A true labor of love and I am PROUD! Make sure y’all check out all the other music I’ve dropped since then because I’ve been working sis lol.
Capriquaraeus Vol. 2 drops this month. I’ve literally been trying to put this project out for like 5 months. The process has been completely exhausting. So prayers up that everything plays out perfectly. I also have projects dropping every month for the rest of the year. So lock in baby, it’s going to be one hell of a ride!
And last, but certainly not least, I celebrate my anniversary with bae in October. Our anniversary is October 15th which was Sweetest Day 2 years ago. Love and Light and all that good stuff! We out here tryna flourish and we’ll be celebrating all month.
I feel like I never really celebrate myself so I’m going to actually do some celebrating this month for the small victories and the large ones. Life is mad generous so I'm glad God has allowed me the opportunity to keep trying to get it right!
