I hope this post finds you well. I've made numerous promises of better consistency on the blog homefront but as you can see, the struggle has been oh so real lol. Not only did COVID-19 come in and shake the room but then, to add another level of drama, we are currently living in a new era of racial reformation. I think it goes without saying but Black Lives Matter and this blog space is in the utmost support of the movement and of all Black Lives.
I'm happy to say that I'm almost 100% sure that I'm really back in my writing bag this go around so this will not be a post that you have to hang on to forever lol. I'll be back sooner than later. You'll be glad to know that my second studio album, 'Transcend,' is now available everywhere you stream music. I'm so proud of this project. I couldn't imagine it coming out any better than it already is. This project is a reflection of all my past relationships, issues, friendships, etc. It is definitely my best piece of work to date and I hope you all have checked it out. If you haven't, join the tribe and stream that ASAP!
In the midst of all that is taking place right now, I hope you've made your peace a priority. We most definitely have to channel some peace to stay sane these days. Stay prayed up and find small ways to calm your mind and spirit. Do not over consume all the news and stories on social media because it will only further add to your stress levels, trust me. In the midst of this chaos, a lot of depression and anxiety can unfold. It is my hope that you will find a healthy way to cope. I'm definitely keeping folks lifted in prayer because I know it can be hard.
In closing, I'd like to dedicate this write up to Jas Waters. An amazing creative that's gone too soon. My good sis was immensely talented and such an inspiration. It hurts my heart to think that she couldn't see the value that she brought so many people. Her light will truly be missed. God rest her soul.
The doors of my blog are always open. If I can be of any assistance, whether it be a listening ear or words of encouragement, I am here. Hit my line. You're not alone.
